“I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” Psalm 34:1.

Third Avenue Missionary Baptist Church choirs are active in continually singing praises to God. Our Music Ministry consists of choirs for all ages.

Our Sanctuary Choir serves every Sunday lifting their voices in praise and thanksgiving to God. This choir consists of all ages.

The Women’s Ensemble Choir serves every 2nd Sunday singing unto the Lord and making a joyful noise to the rock of their salvation.

The Male Chorus blesses us on the 3rd Sunday singing unto the Lord the glory due unto His name.

Our Mission chorus sings on the 1st Sunday proclaiming it is a good thing to give thanks unto His name.

Last but not least, our Jesus Young People Choir serves every Sunday. What a joy it is to see and hear our Jesus Young People choir worship the Lord through song.

All of our musicians have some musical training. Others have music degrees, and others are just blessed of the Lord with musical abilities.

Our singing selections ranges from the Hymns, Spiritual songs, Contemporary Christian, a Cappella, and Gospel. But more importantly, our songs line up with the Word of God.

Our purpose in ministering through music is to continue to mold, shape, and cultivate our voices, hearts, and minds through praise and spiritual singing to influence, persuade, provoke, and exhort the congregation in worshiping and praising God through song.

Praise Dancers

We, the praise dancers of Third Avenue Baptist Church, seek to worship, honor, praise, and adore our God through the person of Jesus Christ and the empowering of His precious Holy Spirit.

Our praise is a spiritual response to music, by the motioning of our body, hands, and or feet rhythmically; using prescribed movements and steps. It is to leap and jump with joy giving praise unto God.

Our praise is one of full submission to God. In order for our praise and worship to be acceptable to God, we must surrender our minds, our bodies, and our attention to Him so that He may minister in and through us as we applaud His glory. (Romans 12:1)
